EZIE - GERMAN SHEPHERD
Ezie is a 8-9 month old German Shepherd mix who was rescued from The Animal Foundation. He was scheduled to be euthanized because he showed signs of aggression (fear - as the dogs who are there can know that other dogs are being euthanized). He is good with well-behaved humans both big and small and as long as he is properly introduced, he is good with medium/large sized dogs. NO CATS!
Since being rescued, he's started training and is picking up everything in a quick pace. He knows recall, sit, down, kennel, middle, loose leash walking and is learning more and more every day. He is crate and doggie door trained. If you're interested in meeting Ezie, please fill out our pre-adoption form by clicking here. If you are a family with kids, please read Children and Dogs so that your children can have a successful and wonderful relationship with any dog!
Who We Are
Louisa’s New Leash On Life, a small 501c3 nonprofit canine rescue based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is dedicated to helping senior, medical, surrendered and/or abandoned dogs and puppies find a positive and loving environment where they can spend the rest of their lives.
Since 2015, Louisa’s New Leash On Life has placed over 400+ dogs/puppies and 1 cat into loving permanent, hospice and foster homes. We have also assisted owners who have come on hard times to keep their dogs by offering to assist in helping pay vet bills, with pet food donations and temporary housing/boarding for their pets.
At the end of 2018, we began a program that pit bulls/bully breeds from our rescue only get adopted when they are trained or continue to receive free training through our rescue. Training and enrichment reduce the chances of a dog being returned.
